Salish Coast Volleyball Club

We are pleased to share with you that we’re starting a new volleyball club on the Eastside – Salish Coast Volleyball Club (SCVBC).

We felt the time was right to offer something a little different for girls who want to continue playing at a competitive level but also seek balance to their busy lives.  Our goal is to keep the girls active and foster their love of volleyball through high school while making sure there is time to enjoy family and friends, manage school and other activities.

Registration is now open for tryouts for our inaugural year.  We’re offering at least one U17 team, possibly two.  If there is enough demand for two teams we will limit the rosters to a maximum of nine players each to ensure plenty of playing time.

The club will participate in the Puget Sound Region Power League (5 dates), the Matt Hartner Memorial Classic in Eugene (MLK weekend),  the Pacific Northwest Qualifier in Spokane (April 21-23), and a Memorial Day tournament in Las Vegas.  Other dates may be added if there is enough demand, but we will NOT be playing in any tournaments over President’s Day weekend.  Families can be together and maybe it’s an opportunity to plan a trip or visit some colleges.

We’re still working on our practice schedule but we’ll be on the Eastside and plan to use the gym at Sacred Heart School on Clyde Hill as much as possible as well as other local gyms such as Hidden Valley Fieldhouse, Tyee Gym, and the Mercer Island Community and Events Center.

We’re really looking forward to the season and growing the Club together.

Let us know if you have any questions.  We hope to see you at tryouts!
